Cricket Format Explained
A clear understanding of the different cricket formats helps you make better betting decisions.
T20
20 overs per side. A match usually finishes in 3-4 hours. The fastest format, it is the most popular in betting markets — the market shifts with every ball. BPL and IPL are played in this format.
ODI (One-Day)
50 overs per side. A match finishes in 8-9 hours. The ICC World Cup and Asia Cup are held in ODI format. In betting markets, there is an opportunity to adjust bets before and after the innings break.
Test
The highest format in cricket — lasts up to 5 days. Unlimited overs per innings. Test betting markets cover match results, series winners and player of the match.
The Hundred
A newer format introduced in England — 100 balls per innings. Even shorter and faster than T20. Its growing popularity has made it increasingly important in betting markets as well.
Major Leagues: BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) · IPL (Indian Premier League) · BBL (Big Bash League, Australia) · PSL (Pakistan Super League)

Crash Game — Fast Multipliers
Crash games are one of the most exciting categories in online casinos. Aviator by Spribe is the most well-known game of this type.
How does it work?
- Place your bet before the game starts
- The multiplier rises from 1× — 2×, 5×, 10× or even higher
- You must cash out before it crashes
- Use the auto cash out feature to exit automatically at a pre-set multiplier
- Each round ends in just a few seconds to a minute
Responsible gaming advice: Set a stop limit before you play and stick to it. Do not trust any "prediction signals" or "hacks" — the outcome of every round is completely random.
How to Read Odds
Understanding odds is essential to succeeding in betting. Below is a plain-language explanation of the three main odds formats and how to use them.
Decimal Odds — the most common
Decimal odds are easy to understand. Example: odds of 1.80 means you get ৳1.80 back for every ৳1 you bet.
৳500 bet × 1.80 odds = ৳900 total return
That is your original ৳500 + ৳400 profit
To find the implied probability: 1 ÷ odds × 100 = probability %. So 1.80 means the bookmaker sees a 55.6% chance of winning.
| Format | Example | Return on ৳500 bet | Explanation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | ৳900 | Common in Europe and Asia |
| Fractional | 4/5 | ৳900 | Popular in the UK |
| American | -125 | ৳900 | Used in America |
Quick tips
- Lower odds mean a higher chance of winning (but less profit)
- Higher odds mean a bigger return but also more risk
- Odds for a favourite team are usually below 1.50
- Underdog odds are above 2.00
- Calculate the implied probability before placing a bet
Account Verification Process
Account verification (KYC) is for your security — it ensures that only you can access your account and helps prevent financial fraud.
Submit your national identity card
Upload clear photos of the front and back of your National ID (NID). Make sure the images are not blurry and all details are clearly readable.
Proof of address
Upload a copy of an electricity bill, gas bill, or bank statement that confirms your current address. The document must have been issued within the last 3 months.
Selfie verification
Take a clear selfie holding your NID. This confirms that the account holder and the document holder are the same person.
Verification complete
Verification is completed within 1 to 24 hours of submitting your documents. Once verified, you will be able to enjoy full withdrawal access.
Trusted Game Providers
dhak66 works with the world's leading game developers — every game is of the highest quality and completely fair.
Cricket Sponsorship and Industry Trends
Cricket sponsorship has become an established marketing strategy in the online gaming industry in Bangladesh and South Asia. Various online platforms are building partnerships with major cricket teams and players, increasing their visibility among cricket fans.
Notable examples: Babu88 has signed sponsorship deals with the Montreal Tigers and Colombo Strikers in cricket leagues. Crickex is active as a sponsor at regional cricket events in Bangladesh and India. Jeetbuzz has signed West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell as a brand ambassador.
This trend shows that cricket and online gaming complement each other — especially during BPL, IPL, and T20 World Cup seasons, when betting activity increases noticeably.
